Travel directions to IISER-Pune

From Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai:
The nearest international airport to Pune is Chatrapati Shivaji Terminal, Mumbai which is well-connected to most of the major cities of the world. From there you can reach Pune either by road or by rail. For trains to reach Pune you can look here. Alternatively you can book a cab (shared or private) to reach Pune. From Pune Airport:
The Pune Air port is about 20 Km. from IISER Pune. You can hire a cab or an auto-rickshaw from the airport to reach IISER Pune.
By Train
Pune is well connected by trains to all major cities in India. There are many trains every day between Pune and Banglore, Hyderabad, and Mumbai (Bombay) operated by Indian Railways. IISER Pune is about 10 Km. from the Pune Railway station. Once you come out of the platform, you will find Pre-paid auto-stand. You can tell at the counter that you want to go to IISER or NCL. A typical auto trip costs about Rs.200.
