Exploring the Quantum via
Magnetic Resonance
We explore the Quantum (Q) World using magnetic resonance. Spins, Q-particles with spin-angular momentum, behave like tiny magnets and precess in a magnetic field. Nuclear spin ensembles in a bulk sample dance to the tune of radio waves and can be studied via nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Often single spins can also be studied via optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR). Using such tools, we study Q-information, Q-control, Q-computing, Q-simulations, Q-many-body effects, Q-foundations, etc.
