Teaching & Mentoring
I have taught a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. These include Algebra I, II (Ph.D. level), Galois Theory, Algebraic Number Theory, Class Field Theory, Galois Cohomology, Rings and Modules, Group Theory, Point-Set Topology, and Introduction to Proofs.
I have supervised over 30 students for semester and summer reading projects on topics such as Local Fields, the Inverse Galois Problem, the Local-Global Principle, Category Theory, Representation Theory, Class Field Theory, Basic Number Theory, Advanced Linear Algebra, Homological Algebra, Galois Cohomology, Lie Groups, and Lie Algebras.
If you're considering doing a project or thesis under my supervision, feel free to drop by my office for a conversation. I’m always happy to hear your own ideas and suggestions.
