Dijet resonance search with weak supervision using √s=13 TeV pp collisions in the ATLAS detector

Based on Classification without labels (CWoLa) described in PRL 121, 241803 (2018)

• Train a classifier (say NN) using some set of variables Y, with events in SR as signal and events in SB as background.
• Select a fraction of the most signal-like test events
• And plot their Mres to do a usual search.

In this ATLAS paper, the variables used are masses of the two jets.
