Identification:
Note: The division into lineosa, scotti, and subangustata is in terms of distinct colour forms and may not be according to species. In fact, each of the 3 groupings may contain 1-4 species.
Form 1 under lineosa: Forewings entirely brown, without green. Medial pair of stripes prominent and often filled in.
Form 2 under lineosa: Forewings entirely brown, without green. Medial stripe not as prominent as in Form 2.
Form 3 under lineosa: Green in forewing limited to the anterior half of wing; median line thick and prominent.
Form 4 under lineosa: Green in forewing limited to the anterior half of wing; median line less contrasty.

Form 5 under scotti: With pinkish basal patch and very contrasty stripes with lot of pale background showing through. Post medial stripes green
Form 6 under scotti: With pinkish basal patch and very contrasty stripes with lot of pale background showing through. Post medial stripes brown
Form 7 under scotti: Pinkish basal patch present, more greyish-green dusting over the wing and less contrasty pattern; post-medial stripes dull olive.
Form 8 under scotti: Pinkish basal patch present, more greyish-green dusting over the wing and less contrasty pattern; post-medial stripes brown.

Form 9 under subangustata: brightish green wash almost covering the entire wing, akin to that of C. pollux, however the median stripe is double (single in pollux) and the body pattern is longitudinal (transverse in pollux SOSEA, but also longitudinal in pollux DMOA)
Form 10 under subangustata: Green stripes on both sides of the median; less dusting than in Form 10, and hence more obvious stripes. Overall duller, greyer green than Form 9.
