  • Visiting Mathematician at the Osaka City University, Japan May-July, 2004.
  • Visiting Scientist at Indian Statistical Institute- Delhi, India, 1996-1998.
  • Visiting Fellow at Mehta Research Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, Allahabad, India, 1994-1996.

  • Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Boise State University, USA since August 2006.

Knot theory, low dimensional topology, real algebraic geometry.
