Research Interests:

1. Gas phase study of molecular complexes of the building blocks of the biomolecules and materials. We mostly study the complexes which comprise of multiple types of non-covalent interactions.

2. Conformations of isolated and micro-hydrated small biomolecules in the gas phase.

3.Understanding n→π* interaction, a weak non-covalent interaction discovered very recently.

4. Molecular level understanding of folding motifs in peptides.

5. Exploring unconventional Selenium hydrogen bonding.
